Status of FM 1938
Construction
•North and South bound paving completed from
SH 114 to Solana
•Northbound pavement sections completed
•Sabine to Dove Road
•Dove Road to Solana
•Contractor grading and working on subgrade
south of Sabine
•Contractor continues working on drainage
Phase I Project Schedule
•Construction started June 2010.
•First traffic switch to new pavement to occur in
November, Sabine entrance re-opened
•Construction completion projected to be
Summer 2012.
•Anticipate streetscape improvements to begin
Fall 2012 and continue through 2014.
