RESOLUTION NO. 04-16
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF WESTLAKE ACADEMY
ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 2004-2005 PARENT-STUDENT HANDBOOK.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Westlake Academy hereby find that the
addition in reference to the uniform policy contained in the 2004105 Parent-Student Handbook
benefits the public understanding of school policies; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Westlake Academy do find that the passage of
this Resolution is in the best interest of the Academy; and
WHEREAS, the adopted 2004-2005 Parent-Student handbook did not allow for a cold
weather uniform addition of tights for the girls as specified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
WESTLAKE ACADEMY:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Directors of Westlake Academy does hereby adopt the
following amendment to the 2004-2005 Parent-Student Handbook:
Girls in Grades 1 —on ward may wear, if desired, fitted,footed white tights available
from Parker Uniforms with their dress uniforms during the winter months.
Girls in Grades 1 —5 may wear, if desired, fitted, footed white tights available from
Parker Uniforms with their casual uniforms.
SECTION 2. That this Resolution shall become effective upon the date of its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED ON THIS 13 T'DAY OF DECEMBER 2004.
