RESOLUTION NO. 04-09
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE WESTLAKE
ACADEMY, APPROVING THE TEACHER'S SALARY SCALE FOR THE 2004-
2005 ACADEMIC YEAR.
WHEREAS, the Westlake Academy desires to recruit and maintain the most
qualified and professional teachers available; and
WHEREAS, the Westlake Academy desires to maintain a salary scale that is
competitive with surrounding school districts; and
WHEREAS, the goal of the Board of Trustees is to maintain a salary scale that is
within 3% of the median of surveyed school districts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE WESTLAKE ACADEMY:
SECTION 1: That the Westlake Academy Board of Trustees does hereby
approve the teacher's salary scale as attached in Exhibit A.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall be effective only for the 2004-2005
academic year.
SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall become effective upon the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED ON THIS 9TH DAY OF AUGUST 2004.
