RESOLUTION NO. 07-07
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF WESTLAKE ACADEMY TO
ACCEPT THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE SPORTS TASK FORCE CONCERNING
FUTURE SPORTS PROGRAMS FOR WESTLAKE ACADEMY
WHEREAS, the Sports Task Force recommends additional sports based on the
possibilities within the Academy, availability of venues and the results of a survey of the parents
of Westlake Academy;
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees, after reviewing the recommendations of the Sports
Task Force authorizes the school to add additional sports to the Westlake Academy sports
program;
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees finds that the passage of this Resolution is in the best
interest of the Academy;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
WESTLAKE ACADEMY:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Trustees of Westlake Academy hereby authorizes
Westlake Academy to add additional sports to the existing sports program
SECTION 2. That this Resolution shall b�-come effective upon the date of its passage
but contingent upon approval by the TEA.
