RESOLUTION NO. 08-20
AUTHORIZING THE CEO THE WESTLAKE ACADEMY TO ENTER INTO A
CONTRACT WITH EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY LEARNING TO PURCHASE
THE A+ SOFTWARE PROGRAM WHICH WILL ENABLE STUDENTS TO OBTAIN
REQUIRED GRADUATION CREDITS THROUGH A SELF-STUDY PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Westlake Academy Board of Trustees finds that the A+ Program will
be beneficial to the students of Westlake Academy in making up required graduation credits;
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees finds that the passage of this Resolution will enable
the staff of Westlake Academy to ensure that all students in the Secondary section have all the
required credits for graduation
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
WESTLAKE ACADEMY:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Trustees of Westlake Academy hereby grants approval
to the CEO of Westlake Academy to enter into a contract with Educational Technology
Learning to purchase the A+ software program
SECTION 2. That this Resolution shall become effective upon the date of its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED ON THIS 6 DAY OF OCTOBER 2008.
