1. CALL TO ORDER AND WELCOME
2. DISCUSSION ITEMS
A. Presentation of the Planning Framework derived from the first 2 public
input workshops. That Planning Framework is (in no priority order):
• Town’s vision
• Citizen Input
• Plan Framework
B. Presentation of challenges the Committee discussed
and attempted to deal with in pursuit of the Planning Framework. Those
challenges are (in no priority order):
• Existing Conditions
• Trends
C. Summary Presentation of Proposed Plan Elements
3. BREAKOUT SESSIONS
Each element will have a table with illustration boards and will be staffed by a member
of the consulting team as well as a member of the Committee to receive public input
and comment. The plan elements are:
1. Land Use Plan
2. Thoroughfare Plan
3. Parks, Open Space and Trails Plan
4. Town Structure (aka Urban Design Plan)
5. Facilities and Water Conservation Plan
6. Housing Plan
7. Economic Development Plan
5. RECONVENE TO DISCUSS NEXT STEP(S) IN COMPREHENSIVE PLAN PROCESS.
