HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 50 Expanding the Extraterritorial JurisdictionORDINANCE N0. 50 ORDINANCE EXPANDING THE EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS WHEREAS, the owners of the land described in Exhibit "A" hereto have requested that the City of Westlake, Texas, expand its extra- territorial jurisdiction to include that portion of said land which presently lies within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Westlake, Texas, and WHEREAS, all of said land is contiguous and adjacent to the otherwise existing extraterritorial jurisdiction of Westlake, Texas, and that such expansion of extraterritorial jurisdiction will provide for more orderly development of such property and promote the health and welfare of the persons living thereon. BE IT ORDAINED that the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the Town of Westlake, Texas, is hereby expanded to include the land described in Exhibit "A"" hereto. EXECUTED this 2nd day of July, 1973.
