AN ORDINANCE CANVASSING ELECTION RETURNS OF ELECTION HELD APRIL 3,
1982, TO ELECT ONE MAYOR, TWO ALDERMEN, AND ONE TOWN MARSHAL.
THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
The the Town Council officially finds and determines that an
election was duly ordered to be held in the Town of Westlake, Texas,
on the 3rd day of April, 1982, for the purpose of electing one
Mayor, two Aldermen and one Town Marshal to said Council; that proper
notice of said election was duly given; that proper election officers
were duly appointed prior to said election; that said election was
duly held; that due returns of the result of said election have been
made and delivered; and that the Town Council has duly canvassed said
returns; all in accordance with law.
SECTION II.
That the Town Council officially finds and determines that only
resident qualified electors of said Town were allowed to vote at said
election, and the following votes were cast at said election for each
candidate and write-in, there being no other person receiving any
votes at this election:
FOR MAYOR:

FOR TOWN MARSHAL: 1
SECTION III.
That the Town Council officialy finds, determines and declares
the results of said election to be that
