WHEREAS, the Town of Westlake is desirous that a Spur
Freeway be constructed between Interstate 35W and State
Highway 114 in Tarrant and Denton Counties; and
WHEREAS, the State of Texas Department of Highways and
Public Transportation has passed Minute Order 86417 dated
October 28, 1987, regarding such project; and
WHEREAS, the State of Texas Department of Highways and
Public Transportation staff has approved the language and
exhibits of the attached letter of agreement dated 11/6/87
with respect to State Highway 114, Roanoke Bypass, U. S. 377
Segment and the Spur Freeway; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Town to accept Minute
Order 86417 in order for the construction project to proceed;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF.THE TOWN'-OF'IWESTLAKE,
TEXAS:
That the State of Texas Department of Highways and Public
Transportation Minute Order 86417 dated October 28, 1987, is
hereby accepted and the Mayor of the Town of Westlake is
authorized to execute, on behalf of Westlake, any documents
regarding the implementation of the Minute Order.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 4th day of April, 1988.
