WHEREAS, a petition has been circulated by Westlake

esidents who are against the attempts being made to form
a new school district; and
WHEREAS, the Westlake residents are against the proponents
of the proposed new school district using the Town's name
when referring to the proposed new school district;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS, that the record show that the
residents of Westlake, Texas are against any attempt to change
the school district situation in Westlake, and that the Town's
name (Westlake) not be used when referring to a new school
district.
PASSED AND APPROVED, this day of 1985.
