RESOLUTION NO. 96-2
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF
WESTLAKE, TEXAS APPOINTING AN ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR THE
IMPLEMENTATION OF IMPACT FEES PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 395 OF
THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Town of Westlake is considering the adoption of impact fees
pursuant to Chapter 395 of the Local Government Code for the financing of capital
improvements required by new development; and
WHEREAS, Section 395.058 of the Local Government Code requires the
appointment of a capital improvements advisory committee on or before the date of the
adoption of an order, ordinance, or resolution establishing a public hearing date to
consider land use assumptions within the designated service area that will be used to
develop the capital improvements plan.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Aldermen of the
Town of Westlake, Texas that:
Section 1: A seven member Capital Improvements Advisory Committee
("Advisory Committee") for the Town of Westlake, Texas is hereby
established and the following individuals are named to the Advisory
Committee: Darcy Anderson, Steve Sallman, Richard Kuhlman,
Abe Bush, Jr., Charla Bradshaw, Dale White and Bill Greenwood.
Section 2: That this resolution shall become effective upon its passage and
approval.
