A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF
WESTLAKE, TEXAS ESTABLISHING THE DATE, TIME, AND PLACE OF
THE REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN; AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE:
WHEREAS, the Texas Local Government code allows the governing body of a
general law .municipality to establish regular meetings of the governing body by the
passage of a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen desire to change the regular meetings of the
governing body of the Town of Westlake to the first and third Monday of each month
beginning in January, 1998, with an executive session at 6:00 p.m. and the regular meeting
at 7:30 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas shall
conduct regularly scheduled meeting on the first and third Monday of each month
beginning in January, 1998, with an executive session, if scheduled, at 6:00 p.m. and the
regular meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m. The meetings shall be held at the Town Hall, 3
Village Circle, Suite 207, Westlake, Texas 76262, or a meeting room close by, or another
location designated by the Town in the meeting notice.
SECTION 2: That this resolution shall become effective from and after its date of
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED ON THIS 8TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 1997.
