RESOLUTION 97-42
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE,
TEXAS ESTABLISHING THE DATE, TIME, AND PLACE OF THE REGULAR
MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE:
WHEREAS, the Texas Local Government Code allows the governing body of a
general law municipality to establish regular meetings of the governing body by the passage of
a resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen desire to change the regular meetings of the
governing body of the Town of Westlake to each Monday beginning with an executive session
at 6:00 p.m. and the regular meeting at 7:30 p.m.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas shall
conduct regularly scheduled meetings on Monday of each week beginning with an executive
session, if scheduled, at 6:00 p.m. and the regular meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m. The
meetings shall be held at the Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Suite 207, Westlake, Texas 76262,
or a meeting room close by, or another location designated by the Town in the meeting notice.
SECTION 2: That this resolution shall become effective from and after its date of
passage.
