1995 TO ELECT THREE (3) ALDERMEN FOR THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE,
TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1: That the Board of Aldermen officially finds and
determines that an election duly ordered was held in the Town of
Westlake, Texas, on the 6th day of May, 1995, for the purpose of
electing three (3) aldermen for two year terms for the Town of
Westlake; that proper notice of said election was duly given; that
proper election officers were duly appointed prior to said
election; that due returns of the result of said election have been
made and delivered; and that the Board of Aldermen has duly
canvassed said returns; all in accordance with law.
SECTION 2: That the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake
officially finds and determines that only resident, qualified
electors of said Town were allowed to vote at said election and the
following votes were cast at said election for each candidate and
write-in, there being no other person receiving any votes at this
election:
ALDERMEN: Alvin Oien 23 votes
Jerry Moore �`T votes
Fred Held Z-3, votes
SECTION 3: That the Board of Aldermen officially finds,
determines, and declares the results of said election to be that
Alvin Oien, Jerry Moore, and Fred Held are elected as Aldermen for
two (2) year terms, and each received the proper number of votes to
be elected; and that each of them are elected to said Board in
accordance with law.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 8TH DAY OF MAY, 1995.
