ORDINANCE ADOPTING NEW BOUNDARY MAP
WHEREAS, the Town of Westlake, Texas has (on this 2nd day of May, 1997)
completed a series of disannexations of uninhabited and sparsely populated land; and
WHEREAS, because of such disannexations, the corporate boundaries of the
Town have changed; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen has determined that it is in the best interests
of the residents of the Town and of the public to establish the correct boundaries of the
Town after such disannexations.
NOW THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF
WESTLAKE HEREBY ADOPTS THE FOLLOWING ORDINANCE:
1. The Town of Westlake hereby adopts the attached map as the revised Official
Map of the Town of Westlake as of May 2, 1997.
2. The Town secretary is hereby directed to immediately file such revised Official
Map in the deed records of Tarrant and Denton Counties, Texas.
This ORDINANCE is PASSED AND APPROVED by the Board of Aldermen of the
Town of Westlake, Texas, this 2nd day of May, 1997, and is effective at 61 e M.
on such date.
