AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF
WESTLAKE, TEXAS, AMENDING ARTICLE XI. "PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
REGULATIONS" OF THE WESTLAKE UNIFIED DEVELOMENT CODE;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the Town of Westlake adopted a revised Unified Development
Code (the "UDC") on February 16, 1998 by the passage of Ordinance No. 298; and
WHEREAS, as a result of discussions with various property owners within the
Town of Westlake as well as recommendations from the Town's land use and
development consultants, the Board of Aldermen is desirous of revising Article XI.
"Planned Development Regulations" of the UDC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the Unified Development Code for the Town of Westlake,
Texas as adopted by Westlake Ordinance No. 298 is hereby amended by adopting a new
Article XI. "Planned Development Regulations" which is attached hereto as Exhibit "1"
and incorporated herein for all purposes, and Exhibit "1" replaces Article XI. "Planned
Development Regulations" adopted with the adoption of the Unified Development Code
on February 16, 1998.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and
approval.
SECTION 3: If any portion of this Ordinance shall, for any reason, be declared
invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the
remaining provisions hereof and the Board hereby determines that it would have adopted
this Ordinance without the invalid provision.
