A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF
WESTLAKE, TEXAS, AMENDING THE 1997-98 OPERATING BUDGET BY
INCREASING OR DECREASING THE AMOUNTS FOR THE FOLLOWING
ITEMS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF
WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
SECTION l: That the 1997-98 Operating Budget for the Town of Westlake,
Texas is hereby amended by increasing or decreasing the following revenues:
a: Sales Taxes from $400,000.00 to $1,045,000.00.
b: Mixed Beverage Tax from $10,000.00 to $8,600.00.
c: Franchise Taxes from $120,000.00 to $164,000.00.
d: Impact Fee Revenues from $ 10,000.00 to -0-.
C. Building Permits and Fees from $60,000.00 to $25.00.
f: Other Miscellaneous Income from $300.00 to $450.00.
g: Sales of Printed Material from $500.00 to $800.00.
SECTION 2: That the 1997-98 Operating Budget for the Town of Westlake,
Texas is hereby amended by increasing the following expenses:
a: Dues and Subscriptions from $1200.00 to $1300.00.
b: Legal Fees and Expenses from $750,000.00 to $950,000.00.
e: Engineering Fees from $41,652.00 to $60,000.00.
d: Planners Nees from $43,800.00 to $69,000.00.
f: Capital Outlay: Office Equipment from -0- to $3,900.00.

SECTION 3: That this resolution becomes effective from and after the date of
its passage.
