A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF
WESTLAKE, TEXAS, APPOINTING TERRY MORGAN AS INTERIM TOWN
ATTORNEY AND PAUL C. ISHAM AS SPECIAL COUNSEL FOR THE TOWN
OF WESTLAKE; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Paul C. Isham has served as the Town Attorney for the Town of
Westlake for many years; and
WHEREAS, Paul C. Isham has tendered his resignation as Town Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen desires to appoint an Interim Town Attorney
until it can develop a Request for Proposal, seek proposals for a new Town Attorney, and
appoint a new Town Attorney; NOW, TBEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That Terry Morgan of Terry Morgan and Associates of Dallas,
Texas, is hereby appointed Interim Town Attorney for the Town of Westlake and shall
serve at the will of the Board of Aldermen and until such time as a Town Attorney is
appointed by the Board, and Paul C. Isham is hereby appointed Special Counsel to the
Town of Westlake, and shall provide legal services to the Town as authorized by the
Board of Aldermen or the Town Attorney.
SECTION 2: That this resolution shall became effective from and after its date of
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY TBE BOARD OF ALDERMEN ON THE 127 DAY
OF APRIL, 1999.
