Consider a Resolution to provide and be responsible for the facilities and associated land
necessary to effectively house the Westlake Academy.
RECOMMENDATIONS
The Staff recommends approval.
The facilities and land will be in alignment with Texas Education Code section 61.1033 in
regards to the minimum acceptable standards for space requirements. Furthermore all facilities
provided will be in compliance with all federal, state, and local safety and health requirements.
Outdoor recreational facilities for playground/athletics areas will be included as well.
Resolve:
The Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake resolve to provide and be responsible
for the facilities and associated land necessary to effectively house Westlake Academy.
The facilities and land will be in alignment with Texas Education Code section 61.1033
in regards to the minimum acceptable standards for space requirements. Furthermore all
facilities provided will be in compliance with all federal, state, and local safety and health
requirements.
Additionally outdoor recreational facilities for playground/athletics areas will be included
in the provision.

LAND NECESSARY TO EFFECTIVELY HOUSE THE WESTLAKE
ACADEMY.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake does hereby
authorize the Town Manager to provide and be responsible for the facilities and
associated land necessary to effectively house the Westlake Academy.
SECTION 2: The facilities and land will be in alignment with Texas Education
Code section 61.1033 in regards to the minimum acceptable standards for space
requirements. Furthermore all facilities provided will be in compliance with all federal,
state, and local safety and health requirements.
SECTION 3: Additionally outdoor recreational facilities for playground/athletics
areas will be included in the provision.
SECTION 4: That this Resolution shall become effective upon the date of its
passage.
