Consider a resolution adopting the revised budget for Westlake Academy for the fiscal
year ending August 31, 2006 and adopting the proposed budget for the fiscal year ending
August 31, 2007
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Staff recommends approval.
BACKGROUND:
In accordance with State law, the staff has prepared and conducted public meetings on
the FY 2006/2007 budget outlining not only the anticipated revenues and expenditures,
but also the goals and objectives of the school aligned with available resources. This year
the school will grow by adding ninth grade. Staff has increased by 4.5 people due to the
addition of the 9"' grade and the increased need for a second Special Ed instructor.
