Consider a Resolution adopting an Admissions Policy for the Westlake Academy.

BACKGROUND
It is important to adopt an admissions policy for the Westlake Academy. Other policies
will need to be adopted once the Head of School can provide input, however, due to the
approaching application deadline,parents need to have access to the Admissions Policy
the Westlake Academy intends to follow.
The attached document has been amended many times and been reviewed independently
by each Director. The attached is a culmination of the comments we have received as
well as our research into what the Academy can and cannot do to remain in compliance
with our Charter and Federal Guidelines for Charter Schools.
The Board is encouraged to discuss any lingering questions or concerns with the policy
and adopt the agreed upon result.
