RESOLUTION NO.24-04
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE TOWN COUNCIL AWARDING A
BID TO WILDSTONE CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR WATERLINE RELOCATION AND
REPAIRS ON CORDONA STREET IN THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the Town of Westlake is in need of making capital improvements to Cordona
Street; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to relocate a water line to repair and access the right-of-way
which is located under Cordona; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Westlake received pricing sheets from severable reputable
contracts and found that Wildstone Construction, Inc is the best value; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council approves the Town Manager to expend funds in an amount
not to exceed $25,000 for repair and relocation of water line at Cordona; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council finds that the passage of this resolution is in the best
interest of the citizens of Westlake.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF WESTLAKE:
SECTION 1: that the Town Council for the Town of Westlake does hereby award the
services to Wildstone Construction, in an amount not to exceed $40,000 for water line relocation
and necessary repairs at Cordona, as attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; and further authorize the
Town Manager to execute this agreement.
SECTION 2: that, all matters stated in the recitals hereinabove are found to be true and
correct and are incorporated herein by reference as if copied in their entirety.
SECTION 3: If any portion of this resolution shall, for any reason, be declared invalid by
any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions hereof
and the Council hereby determines that it would have adopted this resolution without the invalid
provision.
SECTION 4: That this resolution shall become effective from and after its date of
passage.
