RESOLUTIONNO.23-25
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS,
AMENDINGTHEAUTHORIZEDSIGNERSONTHETOWNOFWESTLAKE
INSURANCE TRUST ACCOUNT WITH FIRST FINANCIAL BANK, AND APPOINTING
TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE.
WHEREAS,authorizedsignersoftheTownofdepositoryaccountsmay
require amendments at certain times due to changes in structure and/or personnel; and
WHEREAS, d for payment of health
insurancepremiumswhengovernmentsalestaxexemptionisclaimed,perTexasInsuranceCode
§222.002;and
WHEREAS,signersontheInsuranceaccountshavepreviouslyincludedthe
Mayor, Town Manager or designee, and the Director of Finance;
WHEREAS,
accounts,itisnecessarytochangetheauthorizedsignersontheInsuranceTrustaccount;
and
WHEREAS,theTownCouncilfindsthatthepassageofthisResolutionisinthebest
interest of the citizens of Westlake.
NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHETOWNCOUNCILOFTHETOWN OF
WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
SECTION1:ThatallmattersstatedintheRecitalshereinabovearefoundtobetrueand
correct and are incorporated herein by reference as if copied in their entirety.
SECTION2:ThattheTownofWestlakeCouncilherebydesignatesWade Carroll,Cayce
LayLamas, and Sean Kilbride as authorized signers and Trusteesfor the Town of Westlake
Insurance Trust Account with First Financial Bank.
SECTION 3:If any portion of this Resolution shall, for any reason, be declared invalid by
any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions hereof
and the Council hereby determines that it would have adopted this Resolution without the invalid
provision.

SECTION 4:That this resolution shall become effective from and after its date of
passage.
