ORDINANCE NO. 380
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF
WESTLAKE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE TOWN'S BUILDING OFFICIAL,
BUILDING INSPECTORS, CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, AND
OFFICERS OF THE TROPHY CLUB/WESTLAKE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
SAFETY TO ISSUE CITATIONS ON ANY VIOLATIONS OF THE
ORDINANCES OF THE TOWN; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE,
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas,
hereby authorizes the Town's Building Official, Building Inspectors, Code Enforcement
Officers, and Officers of the Trophy Club/Westlake Department of Public Safety to issue
citations on any violations of the Ordinances of the Town.
SECTION 2: If any portion of this Ordinance shall, for any reason, be declared
invalid by any court or competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the
remaining provisions hereof and the Board hereby determines that it would have adopted
this Ordinance without the invalid provision.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall be cumulative of all other Tow
Ordinances and all other provisions of other Ordinances adopted by the Town which are
inconsistent with the terms or provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED ON THIS 25th DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2000.
