RESOLUTION NO. 05-44
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO ESTABLISH AN INCENTIVE
PLAN FOR THE WARRANT DIVISION OF THE MUNICIPAL COURT ON BEHALF
OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
WHEREAS, The Board of Aldermen desire to reduce the number of outstanding
judgments and arrest warrants in the Westlake Municipal Court; and
WHEREAS, Warrants must be collected to enforce the judgments issued by the
Municipal Court Judge; and
WHEREAS, An incentive package has been designed to assist in the collection efforts;
and
WHEREAS, We have developed a structured incentive package for each position,
attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and other Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas,
as well as the Town Staff, are committed to the collection and enforcement of the judgments of
the Municipal Court and hereby deem it to be of the utmost importance to the Town of Westlake
to enforce said judgments and actively participate in the judicial system heretofore execute said
Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the above findings are hereby found to be true and correct and are
incorporated herein in its entirety.
SECTION 2: That the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas, hereby
approve the structured incentive package for the warrant division and further authorizes the Town
Manager to establish said incentives on behalf of the Town of Westlake, Texas.
PASSED AND APPROVED ON THIS 12th DAY OF DECEMBER 2005.
