RESOLUTION NO. 0528
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF
WESTLAKE, TEXAS, APPOINTING NEW MEMBERS TO THE WESTLAKE
TREE CITY USA ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, the following residents have been invited and have agreed to serve on
the Tree City USA Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen desires to appoint Juan Fontanes, Doug
Mayer, Julie Timmerman, Barb Griggs, and Bob Timmerman to fill and renew the positions
on the Westlake Tree City USA Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the meeting at which this Resolution has been considered was open to
the public as required by law, and public notice of the time, place, and subject of the
meeting has been given in accordance with Chapter 551, Government Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas, does
hereby appoint the following people as renewing and new members of the Westlake Tree
City USA Advisory Committee for the designated terms below:
Juan Fontanes, Chairman 3 years (2008)
Doug Mayer 2 years (2007)
Julie Timmerman 2 years (2007)
Barb Griggs 2 year (2007)
Bob Timmerman 1 year (2006)
SECTION 2: That this resolution shall become effective upon the date of its
passage.
