RESOLUTION NO. 45-14
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE,
TEXAS, APPOINTING JIM BILLINGTON TO FILL THE POSITION OF DIRECTOR
ON THE WESTLAKE ACADEMY FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS, AND
RESOLVING RELATED MATTERS.
WHEREAS, Mr. Jim Billington has been invited and has agreed to serve on the Board of
Directors of the Westlake Academy Foundation, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen desires to appoint Jim Billington to fill the vacant
position of Director on the Westlake Academy Foundation Board of Directors and to ratify and
confirm all actions taken by or on behalf of the Town prior to the Adoption of this resolution in
connection with making this appointment; and
WHEREAS, the meeting at which this Resolution has been considered was open to the
public as required by law, and public notice of the time, place, and subject of the meeting has
been given in accordance with Chapter 551, Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE
TOWN OF WESTALKE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. The findings and declarations contained in the preamble of this Resolution
are hereby incorporated as part of this Resolution.
SECTION 2. This Board of Aldermen hereby appoints Jim Billington to the position of
Director on the Westlake Academy Foundation Board of Directors and ratifies and confirms all
actions taken by or on behalf of the Town prior to the adoption of this resolution in connection
with making this appointment.
SECTION 5. This Resolution shall become effective upon the date of its passage.
