RESOLUTION NO. 05-11
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF
WESTLAKE, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE MUNICIPAL
COURT "LEGAL SERVICES" LINE ITEM TO REFLECT INCREASED LEGAL
FEES FOR TRIAL SETTINGS AND AN INCREASE IN JUDICIAL
COMPENSATION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF
WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
WHEREAS: the Board of Aldermen find that additional funding is necessary for
the Municipal Court "Legal Fees" line item due to the increase in trial settings; and
WHEREAS: the Board of Aldermen has agreed to increase the compensation for
the judge of the municipal court which amount is contained in the same line item.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF
THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake does hereby
approve an amendment to increase the Municipal Court "Legal Services" line item to
reflect additional legal fees related to the increased trial settings and the increase in
compensation to the municipal judge.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall become effective upon the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED ON THIS 14TH DAY OF MARCH 2005.
