STUDENT HOUSING
MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
TEXAS STUDENT HOUSING CORPORATION — DENTON PROJECT
July 2, 2020

PRESENT: Board members Scott Bradley, Mark Harrow, Paula Petersen, Randall
Quick, Katie Kolkmeier, and Executive Director Tracy Harrow. Not
present: Board members Rich Mueller and James Krekow.
1. CALL TO ORDER.
President Bradley called the meeting to order at 7:23 pm.
2. REVIEW AND CONSIDER APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR THE MEETING HELD
JANUARY 29, 2020.
DISCUSSION: Director Harrow made a motion to approve the minutes of the
January 29, 2020 meeting. Director Petersen seconded the motion. The
motion passed unanimously.
3. UPDATE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR HARROW ON THE SCHOLARSHIP COUNT
FOR FALL 2020 AT THE RIDGE APARTMENTS.
DISCUSSION: Executive Director Harrow updated the Board on the scholarship count
for The Ridge Apartments for Fall 2020. The Ridge Apartments currently
have 22 scholarship recipients who have signed leases and an
additional 3 scholarships available. No action taken.
4. UPDATE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR HARROW ON EMINENT DOMAIN AND
TXDOT AS IT RELATES TO THE RIDGE APARTMENTS.
DISCUSSION: Executive Director Harrow provided an update on eminent domain and
TXDOT as it relates to The Ridge Apartments. Currently TXDOT is on a
travel freeze and unable to make a site visit until August due to COVID-
19. No action taken.
S. DISCUSS THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS' POSITION ON COVID-19 AS IT
RELATES TO STUDENT HOUSING.

DISCUSSION: Executive Director Harrow provided an update on the plan for student
housing at the University of North Texas (UNT) based on a conversation
with their on -campus housing department. UNT Housing plans to
operate normally with added safety precautions, including increased
cleaning and face coverings in common areas. No action taken.
6. EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Texas Student Housing Corporation — Denton Project Board had no need for an
executive session.
7. ADJOURNMENT
President Bradley adjourned the meeting at 7:37 pm.
