MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
TEXAS STUDENT HOUSING CORPORATION — DENTON PROJECT
August 17, 2020

PRESENT: Board members Scott Bradley, Mark Harrow, Paula Petersen, Katie
Kolkmeier, Rich Mueller, James Krekow, and Executive Director Tracy
Harrow. Not present: Board member Randall Quick.
1. CALL TO ORDER.
President Bradley called the meeting to order at 7:11 pm.
2. REVIEW AND CONSIDER APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR THE MEETING HELD
JULY 2, 2020.
DISCUSSION: Director Petersen made a motion to approve the minutes of the
July 2, 2020 meeting. Director Harrow seconded the motion. The
motion passed unanimously.
3. UPDATE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR HARROW ON THE SCHOLARSHIP COUNT
FOR FALL 2020 AT THE RIDGE APARTMENTS.
DISCUSSION: Executive Director Harrow updated the Board on the scholarship count
for The Ridge Apartments for Fall 2020. The Ridge Apartments currently
have 15 scholarship recipients who have signed leases. No action taken.
4. REVIEW AND CONSIDER APPROVAL OF BUDGET FOR THE RIDGE APARTMENTS
FOR FY 2021.
DISCUSSION: Executive Director Harrow provided the proposed budget for The Ridge
Apartments for fiscal year 2021 for the Board to review. Director
Harrow made a motion to approve the FY 2021 budget for The Ridge
Apartments. Director Krekow seconded the motion. The motion passed
unanimously.
S. EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Texas Student Housing Corporation — Denton Project Board convened into executive
session at 7:21pm to conduct a closed session pursuant to Texas

Government Code, Annotated, Chapter 551, Subchapter D, Section
551.072 for the following: Consultation with attorney whereby the
Board seeks advice about deliberation regarding real property: Offers
for parcels 107 and 115 pertaining to the TXDOT eminent domain
project at The Ridge Apartments
6. RECONVENE MEETING.
President Bradley reconvened the meeting at 7:27pm.
7. TAKE ANY ACTION, IF NEEDED, FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION
DISCUSSION: No action taken.
8. ADJOURNMENT
President Bradley adjourned the meeting at 7:28 pm.
