Consider a resolution adopting a Town of Westlake Investment Policy.
Staff recommends approval.
WKNEDHM
Chapter 2256 of the Government Code, commonly known as the "Public Funds Investment Act"
requires the town to adopt an investment policy by rule, order, ordinance or resolution. Debbie
Piper, Finance Director for the Town, has completed the required Investment Training required
by this act. The adoption of this policy does not change our procedures of investing with
TexPool. Adoption and adherence to the attached policy is recommended.
