Fire station construction costs have increased by 10% to 15% over the past
three years
Increase $880,000 to $1.2M
Cost to build a basic fire station today = $360 to $375/sq. ft.
In 2013 to 2015 cost ranged from $264 to $330/sq. ft.

Proposed cost for Westlake’s station was $413/sq. ft.
