MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
TEXAS STUDENT HOUSING AUTHORITY
(AN INSTRUMENTALITY OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE)
February 20, 2019

PRESENT: Board members Scott Bradley, Mark Harrow, James Krekow,
Richard Mueller and Executive Director Tracy Harrow.
ABSENT: Board members Katie Kolkmeier and Paula Peterson
OTHERS PRESENT: John DeBurro
1. CALL TO ORDER.
President Bradley called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.
2. REVIEW AND APPROVE MINUTES FOR THE MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 1, 2018.
DISCUSSION: Director Harrow made a motion to approve the minutes of the
November 1, 2018 meeting. Director Krekow seconded the motion. The
motion carried unanimously.
3. REVIEW AND CONSIDER APPROVAL OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2018 AUDIT OF THE
CAMBRIDGE AND TSHA.
DISCUSSION: John DeBurro of Weaver and Tidwell presented the Board with the
audited financials from 2018 for The Cambridge and TSHA. Director
Mueller made a motion to approve the audited financials. Director
Harrow seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
4. UPDATE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR HARROW ON THE SCHOLARSHIP
APPLICATION COUNT AND AVAILABLE AWARDS FOR TOWN LAKE AND THE
CAMBRIDGE FOR 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR.

DISCUSSION: Executive Director Harrow provided an update on the number of new
applications received and renewal requested by current scholarship
recipients for each property — Cambridge, Denton, and Town Lake. No
action taken.
S. EXECUTIVE SESSION.
The TSHA Board convened into executive session at 7:07pm. to conduct a closed session
pursuant to Texas Government Code, Annotated, Chapter 551,
Subchapter D, Section 551.071 for the following: consultation with
attorney whereby the Board sought the advice of its attorney about
pending or contemplated litigation: Texas Student Housing Authority
and Bank of New York Mellon
6. RECONVENE MEETING.
President Bradley reconvened the meeting at 7:28pm.
7. ADJOURNMENT.
President Bradley adjourned the meeting at 7:29 pm.
