Consider a Resolution regarding the state's right-of-way on old U.S. Hwy. 377..
Staff recommends approval of the resolution, so TXDOT will move forward on the
quitclaim of the aforementioned land. .
The Town has requested of the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) 4.487 acre
tract of land consisting of old Highway 377 right-of-way (legal description and exhibit
attached) be quitclaimed to the Town. The right-of-way is no longer being used by
TXDOT.
TXDOT has requested a resolution from the Town agreeing to accept the land be adopted
by the Town. The draft resolution is attached.
