Consider a Resolution appointing Whitley Penn to perform the Fiscal Year 2002-2003
audit for the Town of Westlake.
Staff recommends approval.
This will be the second year the Town has used Whitley Penn for the annual audit. Felix
Lozano and his staff have done an excellent job on the Westlake audit and have assisted
the staff over the last year in improving and streamlining our accounting methods.
Whitley Penn's professional service fees for the audit (estimated to be $34,000 to
$36,000) is in line with professional audit fees given the time and manpower required for
the Westlake audit.
