RE: Spencer Ranch Development
When we purchased 4050 Aspen Lane from David and Nina Brown a few years back, she prophetically
remarked, "You are buying it for the land": 8 acres that abuts Vaquero CC on the East and just to the South,
Terry Bradshaw's old ranch, now owned by Tim Brittan.We knew that Tim's property would be developed at
some point, and we would inevitably have neighbors.
My wife and I are the ONLY Westlake neighbors adjacent to this development and we have been
presented the concepts plans by the developer/builder(Paul Pastore) called Spencer Ranch and we fully
support Paul Pastore in this project. We believe it will be a great addition to our community and our township.
We also like the idea of a single builder/developer and his desire to deliver a multitude of different
designs and layouts dictated by the topography and existing mature trees. Hopefully we will be spared the
thought of seeing existing olde growth trees reduced to saw dust o to the Granada development. Their plans
take into consideration our desires for continued privacy i.e. limiting the number of windows facing our
property, developing a "forest" along adjoining the property lines, "hiding" of garages and constructing
vegetative/riparian buffers. Additionally, he has demonstrated (by his proposed designs) a desire to enhance
the area, being sensitive to the wishes of Westlake residents.
We look forward seeing this development undertaken within Westlake!
