FEBRUARY 4,2019

Chairman Tether called the meeting to order and welcomed those in attendance.
First order of business, consideration of minutes of the October 15,2018 meeting. Motions
related to this topic are:
• Cris Worley motioned to approve the minutes of the October 15, 2018 meeting, seconded
by Rebecca Lawton. Approved unanimously with amendment marking Rebecca Lawton
as absent from this meeting.
The committee then discussed the process going forward for selecting semi-finalists from the
RFQ process. Motions related to this topic are:
• Rebecca Lawton motioned that each juror will have the option to submit one additional
artist outside the top twenty-five for consideration. Motion fails due to lack of a second.
• Robin McCaffrey motioned to average the number of artists with multiple submissions.
The scores will be listed highest to lowest and the cut off will be those artists with a score
below two. Rebecca Lawton seconded the motion. Motion approved unanimously.
Items of Committee Consensus related to this topic:
• Agreement that a week is needed to go through all the artists.
• Agreement that initial decisions will be completed by February 10th at 3pm, for
discussion at the February 11th meeting.
• Agreement that Sue Canterbury may submit her top five suggestions despite being unable
to attend the February 11th meeting.

Finally,the Committee discussed the possibility of adding a new member to the Committee.
Motions related to this topic:
• Rebecca Lawton motioned to empower Tom Brymer to expedite adding a new member to
the Committee with full voting privileges. Robin McCaffrey seconds the motion.
Approved unanimously by Committee.
Lastly,Rebecca Lawton motioned to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Judy Deaton. Meeting
Adjourned.
