MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
TEXAS STUDENT HOUSING CORPORATION — DENTON PROJECT
August 16, 2018

PRESENT: Board members Scott Bradley, James Krekow, Katie Kolkmeier, Mark
Harrow, Randy Quick and Executive Director Tracy Harrow. Not in
attendance: Board member Paula Peterson
1. CALL TO ORDER.
President Bradley called the meeting to order at 7:25 pm.
2. REVIEW AND CONSIDER APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR THE MEETING HELD
JUNE 26, 2018.
DISCUSSION: Director Quick made a motion to approve the minutes of the
June 26, 2018 meeting. Director Harrow seconded the motion. The
motion passed unanimously.
3. RECEIVE UPDATE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR HARROW ON SCHOLARSHIP
COUNT AND PROJECT ANNUAL REVENUES TO TSHA FOR THE RIDGE
APARTMENTS.
DISCUSSION: Executive Director Harrow shared the latest number of scholarship
recipients for the 2018-2019 academic year at The Ridge apartments.
Currently there are twenty-four scholarship recipients, with scholarships
valued at $73,520. Executive Director Harrow also shared that TSHA is
projected to receive $213,413 in annual revenue for The Ridge
Apartments. No action taken.
4. DISCUSS AND CONSIDER APPROVAL OF FISCAL YEAR 2019 BUDGET FOR THE
RIDGE APARTMENTS.
DISCUSSION: Director Krekow made a motion to approve the budget upon
amendment to the "total management fees" line items as the "cost per

bed" calculations are incorrect. Director Quick seconded the motion.
The Board discussed the fiscal year 2019 budget. The motion passed
unanimously.

President Bradley adjourned the meeting at 7:43 pm.
