idea and worth pursuing. Scheduled speaker John Spahr said he would not be able to
make the event. Member S Thornton expressed his confidence in the remaining speaker,
Jerry Stewart, is willing to provide more to the program and recommended someone
additional to contribute to the program.
Classic Car Show
Tee shirts were delivered to the meeting.site to give the board sizes for ordering with
possible recommendations. Over-all, even though the board could see the town's
interest for a more professional look at the event, the board was concerned regarding
the cost of the upgraded shirts. The board decided to not recommend spending the
additional budget for the upgraded shirts and identified sizes for each of the board
members and supporting volunteers for staff t-shirts for this year's events. Members of
the board were concerned that the WHPS fundraising budgetary goal of$2,000 were at
risk due to the purchase of shirts and other non-essential expenses relative to the
projected sponsorship and car entry income to date. It was suggested by Member Rapp
if there were proceeds from this year's event more than this year's budgetary goal, the
additional funds could go toward payment for shirts for next year's car show.
