Consider a Resolution authorizing the Town Manager to enter into a Local Project
Advance Funding Agreement with TXDOT for the FM 1938 project. (Copy attached)
RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends approval.
BACKGROUND
TxDOT has recently requested that the local governments of Westlake, Keller and
Southlake provide 100% of the funding for the state to review the preliminary
engineering. The amount of funds required is $10,000. This requirement is a new
development/policy from TxDOT. Keller has already approved the agreement, while
Southlake is in the process.
