FORT WORTH WATERLINE PROJECT HISTORY
•November 17, 2014 –Phase 1 -FW contract amendment for 48” water line = $2,826,315.02 paid out over 3 years.
•December 15, 2014 –TCMUD ILA –Sizing and route feasibility study for Phase 2.
•May 18, 2016 -Halff Report recommended participating in the Fort Worth water line project from the identified options below:
•Participate in the Fort Worth water line project at a cost of $3,910,842.
•Construct a 30” water line in 2026 without any intergovernmental cooperation at a cost of $11,275,000 (FTV $).
•Construct a 16” water line in 2026 without any intergovernmental cooperation at a cost of $7,425,000 (FTV $).
•June 16, 2016 –FW contract amendment for Phase 2 engineering services = $226,532.
•August 27, 2017 –Phase 2 –FW contract amendment for 30” water line.
•February 2018 –Submitted abridged application to TWDB
•April 30,2018 –Proposed TWDB application fro Council consideration

PROVIDES SOUND INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING
•Realizes economies of scale through intergovernmental cooperation.
•Secures water supply for the Town’s growth for the next 50+ years.
•Eliminates the need to disturb areas that will be improved in the future
(within 10 years).
•Leverages State Funding that has opportunity of debt forgiveness.
