HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 18-12 Approving a Replat for the Firebrand Addition Lot 1 Block 1, Spec's TOWN OF WESTLAKE RESOLUTION NO. 18-12 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS, APPROVING A REPLAT OF AN APPROXIMATELY 2.044-ACRE PORTION OF PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT 3,PLANNING AREA 11 (PD 3-11), ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE 593 FOR THE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SH-170 AND US HWY 377, COMMONLY KNOWN AS WESTLAKE CORNERS NORTH SUBDIVISION. THE REPLAT SHOWS THE FIREBRAND ADDITION LOT 1, BLOCK 1. WHEREAS,the Town of Westlake, Texas is a general law municipality; and WHEREAS, Ordinance 593 established Planned Development District 3, Planning Area 11 (PD3-11); and WHEREAS, Resolution 10-35 established the preliminary plat for the Westlake Corner's North subdivision; and WHEREAS, Resolution 10-36 established the final plat for the Westlake Corner's North subdivision; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to approve this site plan on March 12, 2018; and WHEREAS, the Town Council finds that the passage of this Resolution is in the best interest of the citizens of Westlake. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS: SECTION 1: That, all matters stated in the Recitals hereinabove are found to be true and correct and are incorporated herein by reference as if copied in their entirety. SECTION 2: That the Town of Westlake Town Council does hereby approve the Firebrand Addition Lot 1 Block 1 replat, attached as Exhibit A. SECTION 3: If any portion of this Resolution shall, for any reason, be declared invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions hereof and the Council hereby determines that it would have adopted this Resolution without the invalid provision.
