MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
TEXAS STUDENT HOUSING AUTHORITY
(AN INSTRUMENTALITY OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE)
January 23, 2018

PRESENT: Board members Scott Bradley, Mark Harrow, Paula Petersen, James
Krekow, Katie Kolkmeier and Executive Director Tracy Harrow. Not in
attendance: Trish Howard and Randy Quick.
1. CALL TO ORDER.
President Bradley called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.
2. REVIEW AND APPROVE MINUTES FOR THE MEETING HELD DECEMBER 7, 2017.
DISCUSSION: Director Harrow made a motion to approve the minutes of the
December 7, 2017 meeting. Director Krekow seconded the motion. The
motion carried unanimously.
3. RECEIVE UPDATE OF THE AUDITED FINANCIALS FROM WEAVER AND TIDWELL.
DISCUSSION: Ben Cohen of Weaver and Tidwell presented the Board with a draft of
the audited financials from 2017. Ben Cohen reviewed the audit process
that was completed and shared the Independent Auditor's Report which
included an unmodified opinion of the 2017 TSHA financials. No action
taken.
4. REVIEW AND APPROVE A REVISED BUDGET FOR THE CAMBRIDGE.
DISCUSSION: President Bradley made a motion to table the matter until the next
TSHA Board meeting. Director Peterson seconded the motion. The
motion carried unanimously.

5. RECEIVE UPDATE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR HARROW ON THE
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION HEADOUT.
DISCUSSION: Executive Director Harrow provided an update on the number of new
applications received and renewal requested by current scholarship
recipients for each property — Cambridge, Denton, and Town Lake. No
action taken.
6. RECEIVE UPDATE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR HARROW ON THE STATUS OF
THE ITG LITIGATION.
DISCUSSION: Executive Director Harrow state that the ITG Litigation remains in the
deposition phase and a court date remains to be set. No action taken.
7. ADJOURNMENT
President Bradley adjourned the meeting at 7:51 pm.
