MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
TEXAS STUDENT HOUSING AUTHORITY
(AN INSTRUMENTALITY OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE)
December 7, 2017

PRESENT: Board members Scott Bradley, Mark Harrow, Randy Quick, Paula
Petersen, James Krekow, Katie Kolkmcier and Executive Director Tracy
Harrow. Not in attendance: Trish Howard.
1. CALL TO ORDER.
President Bradley called the meeting to order at 6:33 pm.
2. REVIEW AND APPROVE MINUTES FOR THE MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 9,
2017.
DISCUSSION: Director Petersen made a motion to approve the minutes of the
November 9, 2017 meeting. Director Quick seconded the motion. The
motion carried unanimously.
3. DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION ON ANY OPERATIONAL ISSUES FOR THE
CAMBRIDGE.
DISCUSSION: Jason Ford and Kyle Nail from Asset Campus Housing presented the
Board with data on the current rental rates of other properties in
College Station that indicate that the rental rates for next year at The
Cambridge should be reduced. The Board requested additional
information on the projected operational budget for The Cambridge
with these proposed reduced rates. President Bradley moved for a
temporary approval of the reduced rates until the Board has reviewed
the projected budgets using the reduced rates. Director Quick seconded
this motion. The motion passed unanimously.
Jason Ford and Kyle Nail also provided an update on recent operational
concerns with food service at The Cambridge. No action taken.

4. ADJOURNMENT
President Bradley adjourned the meeting at 7:27 pm.
