A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL TO CAST ONE(1)VOTE FOR NOMINEES
FOR THE DENTON CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS AS
ESTABLISHED BY THE PROPERTY TAX CODE
WHEREAS, the Denton Central Appraisal District is one of the appraisal istr for the
Town of Westlake and it has a governing board of directors that are selecte. w ting
political subdivisions; and,

WHEREAS, the term of service for each of the five (5) member ,of the Deo n Central
Appraisal District Board of Directors will expire as of December 31, 17 nd, ,�
WHEREAS, the Town was advised by the Chief_ p§ i e Denton Central
Appraisal District that the governing body of the Town of stlake ti d to cast one (1)vote
for the following nominees for the Board of Directors of e ton ntral Appraisal District:
Roy Atwood
Mike Hassett
George Pryor
Connie Smith ,;. z',
Charles Stafford

interest of the citizens of 'estlake.
NOW, THEREFOOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF WESTLAKE, T
SE77`tO W 1: That, the Town Council of the Town of Westlake herby casts its votes for a
position o",-the Bo d of Directors of the Denton Central Appraisal District for a term of two years

SECTION 2: If any portion of this Resolution shall, for any reason, be declared invalid
by any court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions
hereof and the Council hereby determines that it would have adopted this Resolution without the
invalid provision.

SECTION 3: That this resolution shall become effective from and after its date of
passage.
