ORDINANCE NO. 840
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE,
TEXAS APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN,
AMENDING THE LAND USE MAP CONTAINED WITHIN. THE CHANGES ARE
LIMITED TO THE AREAS SHOWN IN EXHIBIT A.
WHEREAS, the Town of Westlake, Texas is a general law Town; and
WHEREAS, on August 24, 1992, the Town Council approved Ordinance 199 adopting a
Comprehensive Plan for the Town; and
WHEREAS, on March 2, 2015, the Town Council approved Ordinance 747 adopting a
new Comprehensive Plan ("Forging Westlake") for the Tom;
WHEREAS Section 26-35 of the Town of flak Code o w rdinances requires that
the zoning of properties be in conformance with t om eh ive an; and

WHEREAS, the Housing, Open Spa4,1 el- cono c Development and Land Use objectives
of the Town will be furthered b the amen L Ma • and

WHEREAS,upon the recomAi he stlake Planning and Zoning
Commission on November 13, 2�Q , the �c�wn�cil of the Town of Westlake, Texas, is of
the opinion that it is in the best"tteres4of t1 Town and its citizens that this Ordinance should
be approved and adopted. ' ffi
NOW, THEREFORE, Bt--IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS Y A_ ._.A
SECTION 1: That all matters stated in the findings hereinabove are found to be true and
correct and are incorporated herein by reference as if copied in their entirely.
SECTION 2: That the Town of Westlake hereby approves amendments to the Land Use
Map, as shown in Exhibit A.

SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall become effective from and after its date of
passage.
