He reported there were a record number of cars this year and that the quality and rarity of the cars was exceptional. The People's Choice Ballot was well done and provided geographjc information of attendees. There was a great attendance in general, but disappointment was expressed in the low number of attendees from Westlake. Bert Schultz provided the geographic results of all the people who filled out the cards. There were 1000 Ballots printed, 621 were passed out and 365 were returned. Estimated attendance was 750 people. Estimated and Actual Expense were reviewed with some discussion regarding Evolution Custom Auto withdrawing their promised $1,500 sponsorship. Even with this loss of sponsorship, the car show was profitable. Other sponsors and donations were recognized. Daniel Zipperlen, Social Medial Chair, felt there was a good number of people reached on the Facebook Blast. He suggested the use of icons for Twitter, Facebook, etc. on next year's ballots for attendees to circle where they heard about the car show. The video of people leaving the car show and honking to show they had a good time can be used for promotion for next year's show. Daniel Zipperlen has video of each car as he walked through the show. He suggested possibly using a drone to film the show from above. There was discussion about follow-up articles in various publications about this year's car show so car clubs can plan ahead for our 2018-car show.
