1. CALL TO ORDER.
2. REVIEW AND APPROVE MINUTES FOR THE MEETING HELD January 17, 2017.
3. RECEIVE UPDATE FROM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TRACY SCHORNACK ON
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION COUNT INCLUDING NUMBER OF RENEWALS AND
NEW SCHOLARSHIP AVALABILITY.
4. DISCUSS FULL SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABILITY.
5. DISCUSS WESTLAKE ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS.
6. EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Council will conduct a closed session pursuant to Texas Government Code,
annotated, Chapter 551, Subchapter D for the following:
a. Sec. 551.071 Consultation with Attorney (1) when the governmental
body seeks the advice of its attorney (A) pending or contemplated
litigation: or (B) a settlement offer: ITG Fund Manager

b. Section 551.074(a)(1): Deliberation Regarding Personnel Matters – to
deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment,
duties, of a public officer or employee: Executive Director
7. RECONVENE MEETING
8. TAKE ANY ACTION, IF NEEDED, FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION ITEMS.
9. RECEIVE UPDATE FROM BRYANT FISHER REGARDING WESTLAKE ACADEMY
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT ASSISTANCE. REVIEW AND TAKE ACTION AS
NECESSARY.
10. ADJOURNMENT
ANY ITEM ON THIS POSTED AGENDA COULD BE DISCUSSED IN EXECUTIVE SESSION AS LONG AS IT IS WITHIN
ONE OF THE PERMITTED CATEGORIES UNDER SECTIONS 551.071 THROUGH 551.076 AND SECTION 551.087 OF
THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE.
