It allows a review of the overall layout to ensure it complies with all city requirements. Plat a map of a subdivision that represents a tract of land showing the boundaries and location of individual properties, streets, easements and other pertinent information. Purpose of Amendment To eliminate the requirement for an approval or denial of a preliminary plat within 30 days of a completed application submittal. Process of approval is the same as it is for the preliminary plat. Allows applicant and staff more time to develop and review a proposed subdivision, if necessary.
