ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
OCTOBER 24, 2005
PRESENT: Chairman Don Redding and Board Members Buddy Brown, Bill prey, and Fred
Held
ABSENT: Board Member Larry Sparrow
OTHERS PRESENT: Town Manager Trent Petty, Town Attorney Stan Lowry, Town
Secretary Jean Dwinnell, DPS Director Don Wilson, and Town
Engineer David McCarver
1. CALL TO ORDER.
Chairman Redding called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
2. REVIEW AND APPROVE MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 8, 2005.
Mr. Held moved, Mr. Brown seconded the motion to approve the minutes of the Zoning Board of
Adjustment meeting held August 8, 2005.
There was no discussion and Chairman Redding declared the motion carried unanimously.
3. CONSIDER VARIANCES TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR
TEMPORARY FACILITIES AT THE WESTLAKE MUNICIPAL COMPLEX,
2650 J. T. OTTINGER ROAD.
Town Manager Trent Petty explained the request for variances to the Code, advising that the
Town would be placing temporary buildings on the Civic Campus property for a period of
approximately three to five years.
Chairman Redding opened the public hearing.
There was no one from the audience wishing to speak concerning this item and Chairman
Redding closed the public hearing.
Mr. Frey moved, Mr. Held seconded the motion to grant the variances as presented not to exceed
five years.
There was no discussion and Chairman Redding declared the motion carried unanimously.
4. ADJOURNMENT.
Mr. Brown moved, Mr. Held seconded the motion to adjourn.
The motion carried and Chairman Redding declared the meeting adjourned at 637 p.m.
Approved by the Zoning Board of Adjustment on March 26, 2007.
